Streatham Christians gather to pray about the riots

Over 50 Christians gathered on Tuesday night at Streatham Baptist Church to pray about the riots. Christians from several churches prayed for a change of heart in the rioters and for all those affected by the riots.

Pastor Kevin Kerr from Liberation Christian Ministries in Norbury spoke movingly about events in Clapham the night before. He had witnessed three separate Clapham gangs working together to loot shops and said:

"If the gangs who hate each other and are stabbing each other and are killing each other can work together to loot shops, how much more should we work in unity as Christians?"
